At this point I am hoping Insidious is merely decent. The buzz on this one is good, but for a genre picture that can be a sign of trouble as there can be a tendency for a film of this sort to get overhyped and as a result fail to impress when it comes time for the general public to see it.
FilmDistrict has just unveiled the official poster for the flick which comes from Saw duo James Wan and Leigh Whannell and follows a young family that makes the terrifying discovery that the body of their comatose boy has become a magnet for malevolent entities, while his consciousness lies trapped in the dark and insidious realm known as “The Further.” The cast includes Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Ty Simpkins and Barbara Hershey.
