2011 Costume Designers Guild Nominees Announced

Steve Pond at The Wrap offers up this year’s Costume Designers Guild nominees. I don’t have a lot of commentary to add other than the fact I was surprised to see I’d left Black Swan off my early predictions, but just updated them and added Amy Westcott’s work on that film as well as the work of Mark Bridges on The Fighter and Jeffrey Kurland on Inception.

I didn’t add Jacqueline West (The Social Network) or Ellen Mirojnick (Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps), opting to keep the work of Janty Yates (Robin Hood) on there. Any thoughts? You can browse my current predictions right here, where Colleen Atwood’s work on Alice in Wonderland is still my predicted winner.

The Costume Designers Guild Event will be held on Tuesday, February 22nd, 2011 at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. I’ve added the complete list of film nominees below and if you’re interested in the television nominees you can get those at The Wrap.
