20th Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios debuted a new Scrat animated short in front of Gulliver’s Travels in December and now it has found its way online courtesy of Apple.
The short, titled Scrat’s Continental Crack-Up, puts a new “spin” on the continental drift hypothesis proposing we went from Pangaea to seven continents all on account of a fictional prehistoric rodent and his never ending quest for an acorn.
The short is additionally a nice preview for the upcoming fourth Ice Age film titled Ice Age: Continental Drift, which will hit theaters on July 13, 2012 bringing back Manny (Ray Romano), Sid (John Leguizamo) and Diego (Denis Leary) to the big screen.
