I tell yah, there have been far too many trailers debuting today, what with new trailers for Yogi Bear, No Strings Attached, The Illusionist, The Way Back and Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son and now we get the first trailer for Adam Sandler’s next flick with Dennis Dugan (Grown Ups, You Don’t Mess With the Zohan), Just Go With It. It’s just too much… Too much I say.
Just Go With It features Sandler alongside Jennifer Aniston, Nicole Kidman, Brooklyn Decker and Dave Matthews in a film where he plays a plastic surgeon who’s romancing a much younger schoolteacher who enlists his assistant to pretend to be his soon to be ex-wife, in order to cover up a careless lie. When more lies backfire, the assistant’s kids become involved, and everyone heads off for a weekend in Hawaii that will change all their lives. I guess this means we’re talking about something like The Proposal meets Couples Retreat and since it stars Adam Sandler it will make over $100 million. Sounds about right.
Yahoo debuted the trailer and I’ve added it directly below. Columbia Pictures has already set a February 11 release date, which means it’s competing against Justin Bieber: Never Say Never. The horror!
