UPDATE: I just added the video of the scene just before the pics below.
After seeing an early screening of How to Lose Friends and Alienate People last week and inspired by Megan Fox’s obvious attempt at attention in her GQ interview I wrote an article headlined “Megan Fox Plays Herself in ‘How to Lose Friends’ but Does She Know It?” and A LOT of you read it. I point that out only because the scene I reference in that article has now come to us in picture form.
MGM is obviously aware of what Megan Fox brings to a film and is taking advantage of it and I am not above using those facts to my advantage. Below are six sequential pics from the flick in which Fox plays Sophie Maes, an up-and-coming Hollywood starlett idiot, and in this scene Maes can’t figure out how she is going to get to the other side of the pool due to the large crowd so she decides to walk through it. After she emerges on the other side there is a small round of applause, and as I said in my earlier piece, “The scene is meant to be more funny than sexy and I don’t think Fox quite gets that.”
Check out the pics below or click here to browse them a little bit larger. How to Lose Friends and Alienate People hits theaters on October 3.
