It may sound weird to even ask who is going to voice movie trailers as voice actor Don LaFontaine died Monday of complications from a collapsed lung, but his voice has become synonymous with movie marketing. So many times it has been made fun of due to the corny things he would say such as the now popular catch phrase, “In a world where…” followed by something ridiculous such as “nothing is as it seems.” His voice became the beacon that let us know some film was going to be much more important than we ever could imagine.
He had voiced more than 5,000 trailers and 350,000 commercials in his career and below is just one of them.
