The 22nd film in the James Bond franchise now has a name, but I am not sure if you guys are going to be excited or if you are going to approach it with a resounding, “Huh?” Personally I think this name hits like a dulle thud even though it comes from a short story published as part of a collection by Bond creator Ian Fleming in 1960.
So what’s the title?
Yeah, that’s the title. The story follows on directly from Casino Royale with Daniel Craig reprising the role of British super spy and embarking on a revenge mission following his betrayal by Vesper Lynd — Eva Green’s ill-fated character in the previous film — that takes him to Austria, Italy and South America.
Joining Craig are Mathieu Amalric as the villain and Olga Kurylenko plays Bond girl Camille. For the complete cast click here.
Quantum of Silence hits theaters on November 7th.
Do I like the title? No… Do you?
