Possession

Directed by the Academy Award nominated team of Joel Bergvall & Simon Sandquist POSSESSION stars Sarah Michelle Gellar as Jess, a woman whose life turns surreal after an automobile accident leaves both her husband Ryan (Michael Landes) and her brother-in-law Roman (Lee Pace) in a coma. Things take an even darker turn when Roman wakes believing that he is Ryan. As Jess tries to deal with these increasingly disturbing events, she also struggles with the possibility that either the spirit of her husband has returned to her or that something very sinister is at work. THE ACCIDENTAL HUSBAND directed by Griffin Dunne, centers on Emma (Uma Thurman) a successful but uptight relationship expert with a hit radio show and upcoming book. Emma believes she has met her own perfect match in Richard (Colin Firth) a successful and safe publishing executive. But just before her wedding Emma discovers she is somehow already married to Patrick (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) an irresponsible but charming neighborhood fireman with a big secret …their marriage is no accident. It turns out Patrick is harboring a grudge — his fiancé broke up with him after receiving advice from Emma on her show. Whilst trying to end their marriage Patrick begins to fall for the woman he once thought ruined his future and Emma starts to admire his reckless passion for life and rethink her own button-down view on love. Big Stan

BIG STAN marks the directorial debut of Saturday Night Live alum Rob Schneider (Deuce Bigelow, The Animal) and features David Carradine (Kill Bill) and Jennifer Morrison (TV’s House). The comedy, written by Josh Lieb, tells the story of Stan (Schneider), a white collar con man who, after being sentenced to prison, spends his last remaining free days trying to figure out ways to avoid being violated in “the big house.” Seeking help from a mysterious martial arts guru known only as “The Master” (Carradine), Stan transforms himself into a combat expert ultimately bringing the warring prison gangs together and establishing a hysterical peace within its walls. The film was financed through Crystal Sky Pictures whose CEO, Steven Paul, and president, Benedict Carver, executive produced.

Assassination of a High School President
August 2008

A homage to “Chinatown” set in a Catholic high school, ASSASSINATION OF A HIGH SCHOOL PRESIDENT is a witty film noir replete with surprising twists and duplicitous characters from first-time feature director Brett Simon. The film focuses on a bullied school newspaper reporter named Bobby (Reece Thompson, ‘Rocket Science’) investigating the theft of the school’s SAT exams. Also tangled in the web of conspiracy is the most beautiful but devious girl in school (Mischa Barton), the long-insane principal (Bruce Willis) and a host of other darkly comedic characters played by Michael Rappaport, Kathryn Morris, and Melonie Diaz.

Nothing but the Truth

Centers on female newspaper reporter (Kate Beckinsale) who outs a CIA agent and is imprisoned for refusing to reveal her source. Schwimmer will play Beckinsale’s husband, who initially supports his wife’s decision not to name names but as time goes by begins to resent her for choosing a principle over her family. The film also stars Matt Dillon, David Schwimmer, Vera Farmiga, Edie Falco, Alan Alda, Angela Bassett, Noah Wyle and Harry Lennix.

Real Men Cry

Ethan Hawke and Mark Ruffalo will play childhood friends Paulie and Brian, respectively, who are forced to survive on the tough streets of South Boston through a life of petty thievery. They join a local gang of criminals, but Brian finds it hard to reconcile his work and friendship with Paulie and his relationship with his wife (Amanda Peet) and son.

The Lonely Maiden
TBA 2008

Centers on three museum security guards (Morgan Freeman, Christopher Walken, William H. Macy) who have become attached to the artwork they’ve watched over for decades. When they learn their beloved pieces are to be transferred to another museum, they concoct a scheme to “steal” them back.
