One movie that may be a little late to the Oscar buzz game looks to be Warner Bros.’ The Bucket List starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman.
In the flick Nicholson plays corporate billionaire Edward Cole and Freeman plays the working class mechanic Carter Chambers. Both men are sharing a hospital room and in the process discover they have two things in common: a desire to spend the time they have left doing everything they ever wanted to do before they “kick the bucket†and an unrealized need to come to terms with who they are. Together they embark on the road trip of a lifetime, becoming friends along the way and learning to live life to the fullest. Each adventure adds another check to their list, all done with insight and humor.
I just watched the trailer and am truly looking forward to this movie. Jack and Morgan are two of our greatest actors and I have a feeling if the film is as good as the trailer we are in for good things.
