Wolverine as a Kid and ‘G.I. Joe’ Starts Casting

It isn’t really actual news, but because I highly doubt X-Men Origins: Wolverine will make the same mistake Phantom Menace did by featuring Darth Vader as a kid for the entire film, but SuperHeroHype is reporting that 11-year-old Romulus, My Father star Kodi Smit-McPhee will play young Logan in Wolverine with filming to take place in December.

Secondly, Paramount has begun casting G.I. Joe with plans to begin shooting in mid-February in Prague and Los Angeles under the direction of Stephen Sommers from a script by Stuart Beattie. Apparently the film is currently being referred to as the Untitled Stephen Sommers Project, but only because they might not call it G.I. Joe – it might actually be called Blow Up Stuff, Yay America!*. Aren’t working titles weird?

* That last part was a joke.
