I am betting that hardly anyone reads this, but for those of you that do you can enjoy the smallest pun I used with the image to the right and the headline. Yeah, it’s terrible, but it is at least mildly entertaining as we learn that Silent Hill star Radha Mitchell is joining Morgan Freeman and Antonio Banderas in Mimi Leder’s The Code.
The thriller features Mitchell playing a temptress whose romantic liaison with a thief (Banderas) threatens to come between him and his partner in crime, her godfather (Freeman).
The film is set to begin production later this month in New York followed up by a trip to Nu Image’s Nu Boyana Film Center in Bulgaria of all places. Ted Humphrey and Reuben Leder wrote the screenplay.
Mitchell can be seen in theaters right now in Feast of Love and hopefully the soon-to-be-seen Rogue about a killer alligator from Wolf Creek helmer Greg McLean.
