Personally I was disappointed by Transformers, I thought the marketing was misleading older audiences into thinking they were going to get a dark and moody story with substance, and not a childish after school special with multi-million dollar effects. However, the effects were cool and a sequel is inevitable, but a prequel?
Mark Ryan, the man who “voiced” Bumblebee in the film for all of a few seconds, in an interview with SKNR was asked about a sequel to the film and if he was going to be part of it. Ryan was quoted saying, “I recently recorded more material for the DVD release of the film. It has to do with the Prequel that will set up the second film.”
Ahhh, so there will be a little go between the first film and the second, or are we going to get an actual little prequel story that will encourage the story of the second by introducing new information?
I guess we will have to wait and see as Transformers still has some more box-office raping to do, it is up to $165 million at my last count. Sheesh, that is a lot of money! Thanks to ‘Gareth’ for the heads up, click here for the full interview.
