Considering the careers of Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon have not exactly ballooned since “Sex and the City” went off the air three years ago it is no surprise that the long-rumored feature film adaptation of the popular HBO series will finally be made.
New Line Cinema has decided to jump aboard the film as longtime “Sex and the City” executive producer/director/writer Michael Patrick King will direct from a script he wrote.
Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon are all set to reprise their roles as filming aims to get underway this fall. No story details or any other casting have been confirmed.
