There is White in ‘The Dark Knight’

What does it say about your career when all the fanboy sites still refer to you as Spawn, a character you played in 1997? If you are Michael Jai White and the biggest thing you have done since is… well… Oh, there was that deleted scene in Kill Bill: Volume One! I knew I would come up with something.

No matter how you look at it, the man that played one of the coolest comic book characters in one of the biggest comic book adaptation flops is set to join the cast of The Dark Knight reports MTV.

Michael Jai White is set to play the part of Gamble, one of several mob bosses attempting to take over Gotham’s streets now that Carmine Falcone (Tom Wilkinson in the first Batman flick) is out of the picture. As The Dark Knight opens, Batman and Jim Gordon must decide whether to focus their energy on aspiring thugs like Gamble, or the homicidal Joker (Heath Ledger), a costumed anarchist bank robber.

Word is that Gamble is a brand new character in the world of Batman, so apparently searching for him online will return very little, to no, information.
