Nothing sounds worse to me than a film directed by and starring Ben Stiller except for maybe a kick in the nuts, but I am not anticipating that. However, the movie will happen and it is called Tropic Thunder and it stars Stiller, Robert Downey Jr., Jay Baruchel, Jack Black and now Owen Wilson and Nick Nolte.
The film, for DreamWorks, is about the making of a big-budget war movie where everything that can go wrong does, and where the actors end up becoming the commandos they are playing.
Also joining the cast are Brandon Jackson, Steve Coogan, Danny McBride, Bill Hader, Matt Levin and Andrea De Oliveira.
The film is set to shoot in Hawaii and Los Angeles this summer.
