Ah ha, our first official story out of Variety as they report from the Cannes Film Festival which gets underway tomorrow tells us that Forest Whitaker and Jessica Biel are set to star in the ensemble drama Powder Blue for director Timothy Linh Bui who really has no credits to note on his record.
The film finds four eclectic characters — a mortician, an ex-con, a suicidal ex-priest and a stripper — brought together on Christmas Eve by a mixture of circumstances.
Shooting is set to start in late July in L.A.
