Internet rumors had Laurence Fishburne voicing the mysterious villain Galactus in Fox’s summer release Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer but word comes in from Variety that while Fishburne will be voicing a character it isn’t Galactus, instead he will be voicing the role of the Silver Surfer. Silver Surfer, who rides his surfboard through space, is the herald for the planet-destroying Galactus.
If you are wondering what will happen with Galactus Variety does say he is in the film, but apparently Fox isn’t sure if he will speak.
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer hits theaters on June 15 and is listed as sequel #8 of the summer in our Summer Movie Preview.
