Dennis Dugan Directing Sandler’s ‘Zohan’

Dennis Dugan has already directed Adam Sandler in Happy Gilmore, Big Daddy and the upcoming I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, but he isn’t stopping there as he is reuniting with the comedian for Columbia Pictures’ You Don’t Mess With Zohan.

The film centers on a Mossad agent (Sandler) who fakes his death so he can move to New York and become a hairstylist. Rob Schneider has also wormed his way into another Sandler flick and will play an East Yistannen cab driver. Judd Apatow, Robert Smigel and Sandler penned the screenplay.

Zohan is set to begin production this summer in Los Angeles and New York with an anticipated summer 2008 release.
