On June 15 Warner Bros. will be releasing Nancy Drew starring Emma Roberts. The pic brings back to life the characters created by Carolyn Keene and follows Nancy (Emma Roberts) as she accompanies her father, Carson Drew (Tate Donovan), to Los Angeles on one of his business trips and stumbles across evidence about a long-unsolved crime involving the mysterious death of a beautiful movie star.
The movie must not be too shabby, because producer Jerry Weintraub and director Andrew Fleming have already agreed to doing a sequel and Roberts is already set to star in the follow-up.
The producer, director and actor aren’t stopping there, they are also moving forward on Rodeo Girl, another family flick for WB in which Roberts will play a debutante equestrian who falls for a cowboy and tries to win him over by entering a rodeo competition.
Emma Roberts last appeared in Aquamarine.
