RopeofSilicon is proud to bring you seven new looks from one of the best films I have seen in a long time, Black Snake Moan, starring Sam Jackson, Christina Ricci and Justin Timberlake.
The film stars Ricci as Rae, a nymphomaniac that cannot control her urges and she ultimately becomes the white-trash sexual target of every man and boy in her small Tennessee town when her true love Ronnie (Timberlake) leaves town. Rae’s urges get the best of her when Ronnie’s best friend forces himself upon her, but when she refuses he leaves her for dead in the middle of a backwood road where she is found by Laz (Jackson), a man that has his own issues to deal with. Laz takes in the wounded Rae and once he learns of her “disease” he takes it upon himself to help her and free her of her problem and he ultimately finds his own way back to the full force of life in the bargain.
Hustle & Flow helmer Craig Brewer wrote and directed the flick and it is certainly worth your time. Take your pick from the clips below and look for the movie in theaters this Friday, March 2.
