Well, another round of nominees are announced and when it comes to directors I would hope the Directors Guild of America might side with me, and while they did not include Clint Eastwood (THANK YOU!) in their nominees they did not recognize Alfonso Cuaron.
Was the directing in The Queen really better than Children of Men? To compare the two is apples and oranges where Curon’s work on COM is the orange and far more tasty. Don’t get me wrong, The Queen is my personal choice for the Best Picture Oscar, but directing wise, that goes to Alfonso in my book.
However, since my opinion means jack, I bring you the nominees..
