A quick update as interesting news has started to slow out of France.
HARRIS AND SPACEY EAT BLUEBERRY
The Wong Kar Wai picture is gaining some serious ground in the “name” category as Ed Harris is in final negotiations to join the picture and Kevin Spacey is also circling the pic.
My Blueberry Nights will be Wai’s first English-language pic and it currently stars singer Norah Jones as a young woman journeying across the U.S. in an attempt to resolve her questions about the meaning of love. Along the way she encounters some quirky characters.
Also a part of the cast are Jude Law, Rachel Weisz and Natalie Portman.

DAFOE IN BEAN II
Damn, I guess this thing is more than just a rumor as Variety confirms some casting for the upcoming sequel Bean II for Universal Pictures.
Brit comedian Rowan Atkinson returns as the title character, Mr. Bean, whose French holiday degenerates into the usual mayhem.
Willem Dafoe joins the cast along with Emma de Caunes and Jean Rochefort. Filming is already underway in Paris under the directiong of Steve Bendelack.
