Universal Pictures and MySpace have launched a contest for Judd Apatow’s new upcoming comedy Funny People which you can enter to win a walk-on role in the film. The Universal Pictures release, starring is slated for a July 31, 2009 release and features all-star comedy ensemble including Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen, Eric Bana, Jonah Hill, Leslie Mann and Jason Schwartzman.
For the launch of the contest, Judd Apatow has recorded a special message which you can view here. The studio has also provided us with this “First Look Poster” for the film.
To enter, contestants must log into MySpace and friend the Funny People official MySpace page at MySpace.com/FunnyPeople. Then in 100 words or less, users must leave a comment explaining why he or she should win the role. The deadline for submissions is December 8, 2008. Winners will be judged on quality of expression, originality, and enthusiasm.
