Hollywood Gang Productions, Endgame Entertainment and Mongol director Sergei Bodrov are teaming up to travel with Marco Polo, says The Hollywood Reporter.
The filmmakers will unite for The Silk Road: The Adventures of Marco Polo, an epic feature chronicling the controversial 13th-century Italian trader and explorer.
Hollywood Gang’s Gianni Nunnari (300) and Endgame’s James D. Stern (The Brothers Bloom) will produce the tale, told through the eyes of Polo’s prison mate, Rustichello da Pisa.
