When I say WB I don’t mean that cheesy TV station I am talking Warner Bros. and their assumed deal to merge with MGM now that Sony has not been able to seal the deal.
MGM currently holds the rights to J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Hobbit,” which means that if Warner is able to finalize a deal with MGM it would find itself alongside New Line’s “The Lord of the Rings” franchise.
Nothing is confirmed, but you can be assured that the news, once it is finalized, will be big and we will have it for you.
