20th Century Fox has picked up the domestic release rights to producer Luc Besson’s Bandidas currently set to star Salma Hayek and Penelope Cruz as a western-comedy centering on the two as a couple of fiesty bank robbers. Besson and Robert Mark Kamen penned the screenplay and have set directors Espen Sandberg and Joachim Roenning for the pic.
