Newmarket Films has acquired the rights to John Sayles indie pic Silver City starring Maria Bello, Thora Birch, Chris Cooper, Richard Dreyfuss, Daryl Hannah, Danny Houston, Kris Kristofferson, Mary Kay Place and Tim Roth.
