According to Variety Universal is moving forward with their Fast and the Furious franchise with hopes to put Vin Diesel back in the driver’s seat after negotiations broke down for the sequel 2 Fast 2 Furious.
Chris Morgan has signed on to pen the script and his concept picks up Diesel’s character, Dominic Torretto, where he was left off at the end of the first “Fast,” a fugitive of the law hiding out in Mexico.
