It was announced yesterday that Paramount Pictures will be giving audiences a sneak peek at Team America: World Police in 800 theaters across North America on Saturday, October 9th.
If you have been stuck in a hole and aren’t sure just what exactly Team America is all about, it follows an all-marionette cast, a-la the old school “Thunderbirds” TV show, in which an international police force dedicated to maintaining global stability, learns that a power hungry dictator is brokering weapons of mass destruction to terrorists. The heroes embark upon a harrowing mission to save the world by infiltrating the terrorist network.
On top of that you can now bid on official Team America vehcles, used in the film over at eBay.com by clicking here, but get out your wallet, the latest bid was at $356.00 at the time of this article.
All proceeds from the auction will support Park County Schools science camp in Fairplay, CO. and Sterling Intermediate School Mission to Mars program in Wanatchee, WA.
