Walt Disney and Touchstone Pictures have finally released some publicity photos for their 2004 slate and to get your look just check out the titles below and follow the links to the photo books.
The Village – In M. Night Shyamalan’s “The Village,” the Academy Award-nominated filmmaker, who brought you “The Sixth Sense” and “Signs,” assembles an all-star cast, including Joaquin Phoenix and Sigourney Weaver and Academy Award-winners Adrien Brody and William Hurt, to bring to the screen the thrilling tale of an isolated village confronting the astonishing truth that lies just outside its borders. At first glance, this village seems picture perfect, but this close-knit community lives with the frightening knowledge that creatures reside in the surrounding woods. The evil and foreboding force is so unnerving that none dare venture beyond the borders of the village and into the woods. But when curious, headstrong Lucius Hunt plans to step beyond the boundaries of the town and into the unknown, his bold move threatens to forever change the future of the village.
Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement – Where the smash hit “The Princess Diaries” ended, the fun begins as Mia (Hathaway) is ready to assume her role as princess of Genovia. But no sooner has she moved into the Royal Palace with her beautiful, wise grandmother Queen Clarisse (Andrews) than she learns her days as a princess are numbered – Mia’s got to lose the tiara and immediately take the crown herself. As if getting ready to rule wasn’t enough, the stakes for Mia have never been higher – with Genovian law stating that princesses must be married before being crowne, Mia’s in for a parade of suitors who’d all like to be her king. In the quest for a groom, comedy and complications rule the day as the cast and filmmakers behind the first frilm, including director Garry Marshall (“Pretty Woman,” “Runaway Bride”), return for this hilarious romantic comedy.
Ladder 49 – Jack Morrison (Phoenix) is a fireman — he saves lives for a living. But as rewarding as the work is, the physical toll, high risk, and low pay often make Jack wonder if he has done the right thing for his wife and children. Even the support and encouragement he receives from his mentor and chief (Travolta) and the fellow firemen in his firehouse, Ladder 49, can’t help Jack shake the feeling. But when Jack becomes trapped in the worst blaze of his career, it is now he who needs to be rescued. With the fire raging in every direction and his brothers-in-arms struggling to set him free, the question of whether Jack will live or die hangs in the balance.

Around the World in 80 Days – Fabulous adventures, hilarious predicaments, and exhilarating action await an all-star international cast as three unlikely heroes attempt to settle an outrageous wager in Walt Disney Pictures’/Walden Media’s new spectacle for the whole family, “Around the World in 80 Days.” An eccentric London inventor, Phileas Fogg (Coogan), has come up with the secrets to flight, electricity, and even rollerblades, but the world has dismissed him as a crackpot. Desperate to be taken seriously, Fogg makes an outlandish bet with Lord Kelvin (Broadbent), the head of the Royal Academy of Science: to circumnavigate the globe in no more than 80 days! With his two sidekicks – Passepartout (Chan) and femme fatale Monique (de France) – Fogg is headed on a frantic, heart-pounding round-the-world race that takes our heroes to the world’s most exotic places by land, sea, and air. Along the way, our heroes face many adventures and obstacles from an all-star cast including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kathy Bates, Owen and Luke Wilson, and Rob Schneider. Frank Coraci (“The Wedding Singer,” “The Waterboy”) directs.
The Life Aquatic – The film tells the story of oceanographer Steve Zissou and his crew and their misadventures in deep-sea exploration starring Bill Murray, Cate Blanchett, Owen Wilson, Anjelica Huston, Willem Dafoe and more.
The Last Shot – Inspired by the true story of a sting operation in Providence, R.I. “The Last Shot” revolves around a young filmmaker (Broderick) who is given millions of dollars to make his first movie by a mysterious benefactor (Baldwin) on the condition that he shoot it in Providence. But the filmmaker eventually discovers that his film’s producer is an undercover FBI agent.
Mr. 3000 – Centers on a retired Milwaukee Brewers baseball player played by Bernie Mac who comes out of retirement when three of his base hits are disallowed, dropping him below the prized 3,000-hit plateau.
National Treasure – A caper story about a secret code in the U.S. Constitution that reveals the whereabouts of a treasure buried during the 1700s. Cage plays an archaeologist-historian on the hunt for the treasure, with Bartha playing Riley Poole, the best friend of Cage’s character. Diane Kruger also stars as a Smithsonian Museum worker.
