Seabiscuit’ Races to DVD in December

Seabiscuit, an American epic of triumph and perseverance set during the Great Depression, and based on the best-selling book that remains one of the most popular and widely read non-fiction books of recent years, breaks out of the gate on DVD and VHS on December 16, 2003.

Galloping past the $110 million mark in its current run at the box office, the critically-acclaimed release arrives in the midst of the year’s biggest holiday gift-giving season. Seabiscuit will be available on DVD in widescreen or full-frame on November 4, 2003.

Starring Tobey Maguire, Jeff Bridges, Academy Award®-winner Chris Cooper (Adaptation), William H. Macy and Elizabeth Banks, Seabiscuit is directed by Gary Ross (Pleasantville) and scored by Academy Award ®-winner Randy Newman (Monsters, Inc.).
