If you live in Los Angeles or will be there from June 19 through June 29, you may want to check out the Los Angeles Film Festival since as usual, they have a lot of cool movies debuting and equally cool programming. This year’s festival kicks off with Guillermo del Toro’s Hellboy II: The Golden Army and both del Toro and cinematographer Guillermo Navaro will be on hand for special conversations. Hot Fuzz director Edgar Wright is doing a special presentation for the long-awaited U.S. DVD release of his Channel 4 series “Spaced” which starred his long-time collaborators Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. Juno director Jason Reitman will also have a special conversation with his father Ivan Reitman (Ghostbusters).
