The Weinstein Company has acquired screen rights to the Allison Winn Scotch novel “Time of My Life,” with Meryl Poster producing through her Superb Entertainment, reports Variety.
The novel, which Random House will publish in October, focuses on a thirtysomething housewife who gets a chance to go back in time to eliminate the lingering doubts about what might have happened had she not settled down.
The project reunites Poster with Harvey Weinstein. She served as longtime Miramax president of production and shepherded such films as Emma, The Cider House Rules, Chocolat” and Cold Mountain.
