HBO has debuted a new teaser trailer for Season 2 of its Rapture-themed dramatic series “The Leftovers,” which is scheduled to premiere this fall.
Created by Damon Lindelof (“LOST”) and acclaimed novelist Tom Perrotta (Little Children), the series is produced for HBO by White Rabbit in association with Warner Bros. Television. Lindelof serves as showrunner.
Season 1 series regulars expected to return for the new season -which is said to be a soft reboot in a new locale- include Justin Theroux, Amy Brenneman, Margaret Qualley, Chris Zylka, Carrie Coon and Christopher Eccleston. New additions to the show include Kevin Carroll (“Law & Order: SVU”), Regina King (“The Strain”), Jovan Adepo (“Blood Relatives”) and Darius McCrary (“Family Matters”).
