TheStream.tv talked to Oscar-winning makeup artist Jeff Dawn, who has worked on 19 Arnold Schwarzenegger movies and in recent years on many projects starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. He was asked whether he would be back for the next Terminator movie, to be directed by McG and starring Christian Bale, Sam Worthington and Anton Yelchin.
Dawn said he would not be involved because he is about to start Jonathan Mostow’s sci-fi action-thriller The Surrogates, starring Bruce Willis, in a few weeks. He did say, however, that Stan Winston will indeed be back as the special makeup effects artist. Winston has worked on all the “Terminator” films so far.
Dawn was also asked which projects he would be interested in working on with Schwarzenegger when he is no longer governor. He mentioned Westworld and Crusade would be great, but he really wants to do King Conan.
