CBS Films has paid $1 million for Dan Fogelman’s untitled boomers-in-Vegas comedy pitch, reports Variety.
The story revolves around four semi-retired baby boomers who embark on a getaway to Sin City.
The deal marks the third project that CBS Films has put into development since its formation last year. The nascent mini-studio also is developing a potential franchise based on a series of bestselling action-thrillers written by Vince Flynn, and Beastley, a modern-day retelling of the “Beauty and the Beast” story set in a New York City high school and based on Alex Flinn’s novel.
Fogelman’s credits include Fred Claus and Pixar’s Cars.
