The Madagascar sequel long know as Madagascar: The Crate Escape might get a new subtitle — “Escape 2 Africa.” Trademork.com writes:
On March 3, 2008, Dreamworks Animation filed to protect the trademark Madagascar Escape 2 Africa in relation to “animated motion picture films for theatrical release and for distribution via television” as well as a variety of goods and services related to Dreamworks’ Madagascar franchise.
The studio has also registered MadagascarEscape2Africa.com, another hint that they are going in that direction.
The sequel, featuring the voices of Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, Jada Pinkett Smith, David Schwimmer, Sacha Baron Cohen, Cedric the Entertainer, Andy Richter and Alec Baldwin, opens in theaters on November 7.
