Variety reports that Marlene Forte has landed the role of “Chief Transporter” in director J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek, which is currently filming for a Christmas Day release. Forte’s recent credits include “CSI” and “Lost.”
She joins a cast that includes Zoe Saldana, Ben Cross, Bruce Greenwood, Simon Pegg, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Winona Ryder, Zoë Saldana, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin, Eric Bana and Leonard Nimoy.
