Kirk Acevedo (Invincible) and Tomas Arana (Gladiator) have been cast in key roles for J.J. Abrams’ new Fox series “Fringe.”
The series revolves around a female FBI agent who ends up paired with a troubled scientist and his estranged son in a hunt for paranormal phenomena.
Filming on the pilot, which was written before the WGA strike, is set to begin next month in Toronto.
Abrams is executive producing with frequent Bad Robot collaborators Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman, Bryan Burk and Alex Graves. Graves is directing.
