Episode VIII and Spinoff News and Rumors
Star Wars Underworld reports that the code name for the spinoff film is:
The first was of a new droid from Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, the second one deals with the mysterious 2016 Star Wars Stand Alone film directed by Gareth Edwards and written by Gary Whitta. This information was given to us by a source close to the production. We’re not going to issue a spoiler alert because this code name likely has little to do with the plot (though that won’t stop us from speculating).
The code name is: Los Alamos.
