More on Board for Faris’ House Bunny

Colin Hanks, Monet Mazur, Kiely Williams of the Cheetah Girls, All-American Rejects frontman Tyson Ritter, Owen Benjamin, Rachel Specter and Beverly D’Angelo have joined the cast of Anna Faris’ House Bunny at Columbia Pictures and Happy Madison.

The script, by Legally Blonde scribes Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith, centers on a Playboy bunny (Faris) who gets kicked out of the Playboy Mansion and becomes the house mother to the lamest sorority on a college campus.

Hanks is the male lead in the film, playing Faris’ love interest.

Mazur (Torque) will play an evil Playboy bunny, while Williams will plays a member of the lame sorority, one who suffers from extreme shyness and communicates via notes and texts. Ritter is a frat guy who is more than he seems, while Benjamin is a butler seduced by Mazur. D’Angelo (“Entourage”) is the house mom of the bitchy sorority, of which Specter (Lonely Hearts) is a part.

Shooting is under way in Los Angeles, with Fred Wolf directing.
