“Gilmore Girls” star Scott Patterson (Saw IV) is staying in the CW fold with a role in the network’s new comedy series “Aliens in America,” says The Hollywood Reporter.
“Aliens,” from CBS Paramount Network TV and Warner Bros. TV, centers on the relationship between an unpopular 16-year-old boy from a Christian family in Wisconsin and an exchange student, a 16-year-old Pakistani Muslim, who comes to live with them.
Patterson will play the American teen’s dad. He replaces Patrick Breen, who played the role in the pilot.
