“Hustle” co-star Jaime Murray has been tapped for a major recurring role on Showtime’s “Dexter,” which kicks off its second season Sept. 30.
Murray will portray Lila, an artist and former addict who becomes a close ally and friend to Dexter (Michael C. Hall), a likable Miami police forensics expert who moonlights as a serial killer of criminals. Lila is described as wild, unconventional, smart and daring and someone who plays by her own rules.
Murray will appear in 10 of the 12 episodes in “Dexter’s” second season.
For “Dexter’s” upcoming season, the series will be partnered with fellow drama “Brotherhood.” “Dexter,” the network’s top-rated drama series, will air at 9 p.m. Sundays, serving as a lead-in to “Brotherhood” at 10 p.m.
