Laurence Fishburne and Cole Hauser have signed to star in crime thriller Tortured, with cameras rolling Monday in Vancouver, reports Variety.
Five Star Pictures, Insight Film Studios and Proud Mary Entertainment are producing, with Nolan Lebovitz directing from his own script. Producers are the director’s brother, Adam Lebovitz of Five Star Pictures, along with Kirk Shaw of Insight Film Studios and Mary Aloe of Proud Mary Entertainment.
The story centers on an undercover FBI agent (Hauser) who infiltrates the world’s most powerful crime syndicate. When he cracks the inner circle, he’s assigned the task of torturing one of its accountants, played by Fishburne.
