Miramax has commissioned Come Closer and set noted fashion photographer Carter Smith to direct, reports Variety.
Tristine Skyler will write the screenplay, adapting from a novel by Sara Gran.
The story concerns a woman who may be possessed by unseen forces or simply may be losing her mind.
Miramax plans to go into production early next year.
