Paramount Vantage acquired Harris Wilkinson’s horror spec Ink, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Set in the world of tattoo artistry, the high-concept story line is being kept under wraps. But Vantage head of production and acquisitions Amy Israel promised an “original take on the horror genre (that) is hugely exciting.”
The script is out to directors, says the trade. Wilkinson’s credits include Stir of Echoes: The Dead Speak at Lionsgate, Bone Canyon at New Line and Awake at Universal Pictures.
