Mike Disa will direct the Weinstein Company and Kanbar Entertainment’s Hoodwinked 2: Hood vs. Evil, a CG-animated sequel to the 2006 film, reports Variety. Maurice Kanbar and David K. Lovegren produce.
The original Hoodwinked grossed $51 million domestically and $109 million worldwide.
Disa was most recently technical consultant on IDT’s Rob Zombie pic The Haunted World of El Superbeasto and also directed the CG version of Seven Dwarves for Disneytoons Studio. He is a former designer of such interactive games as Sega’s “Spider-Man” and “Jumping Joey the Roo.”
