Holly Wiersma (Factory Girl, Bobby) has launched production on ensemble drama Rocket, starring Tom Arnold, Illeana Douglas, Jimmy Fallon, Lucy Liu and Sharon Stone.
Wiersma is producing via her company and Ring Productions, with Ed Machek and Lou Maggio executive producing.
The project, directed by Patrick Sisam and filming in Jacksonville, Fla., centers on a 35-year-old man (Fallon) who finds that his problem committing to his girlfriend stems from his troubled relationship with his unhappily married father, portrayed by Arnold.
Sisam and Rick Velleu co-wrote the script, based on stories written by Ethan Canin.
