Kanye West recently went on an extreme rant on X (formerly Twitter). During the same, the rapper tweeted some unpleasant and offensive remarks about Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s twin children, Rumi and Sir. Now, Beyonce’s mom Tina Knowles has entered the fray and addressed West’s online attack.
So what did Beyonce’s mother say? Did she rebuke West? Here is how she handled the situation.
What did Beyonce’s mom Tina Knowles post on Instagram?
In the wake of the “Runaway” singer’s social media attack against Beyonce and Jay-Z’s 7-year-old twins Rumi and Sir, her mother took to social media to address the matter.
However, Tina Knowles did not directly address West’s attack. Instead, she posted an Instagram video, where she told a “corny joke,” indirectly addressing his X rampage. “What happens when a snowman throws a tantrum, he has a meltdown,” the businesswoman and fashion designer said.
However, Knowles’ caption also had a serious tone. Here, she noted how hard it was to be “positive” and “classy” when combating ignorance. “But I know that no weapon formed against me or my family shall prosper,” Knowles added. “This battle is not mine, but the Lord, I know that God has got this.”

Previously, in a now-deleted tweet, Kanye West called Beyonce and Jay-Z’s children “retarded.” Here, he also claimed that having “retarded children” was “a choice,” and that “artificial insemination” was a blessing. West later expressed frustration at taking the post down, noting how a member of his music team had called him and asked him to do so.
The Donda artist later put up a series of disturbing tweets talking about Jay-Z ending his life in retaliation. However, West then claimed that he did not want the “Empire State of Mind” singer to get in trouble for doing so, adding that Drake’s top shooter could do it instead.
The rapper ultimately put up another post on X, seemingly apologizing to Jay-Z, saying he loved him and felt bad. However, he ranted about the music mogul and Beyonce skipping his 2014 wedding with Kim Kardashian, which he called a “slight.” Kanye West also expressed resentment towards the couple for not being there when he needed them and for not using their power to help him have more leverage over his children.
