WWE Royal Rumble 2025 winner Jey Uso botched a move on the latest edition of RAW, which took place in Brussels, Belgium. As he gears up to challenge Gunther for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41, Gunther continues to taunt him, insisting Jey isn’t on his level.
On RAW, Jey Uso faced Austin Theory, who had Grayson Waller at ringside. Throughout the buildup, Theory and Waller mocked Jey, insisting he had no chance of dethroning Gunther at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.
Jey dominated Theory in a quick squash match. Theory landed a few punches after Waller caused a distraction, but Jey countered by floating over the ropes and hitting a crossbody to secure the victory.
After the match, the chaos didn’t stop. Jey Uso superkicked Grayson Waller, sending him out of the ring. However, when he attempted a flip dive onto Waller and Theory outside, he miscalculated the jump and awkwardly fell onto both of them instead.
Fans on social media compared Jey Uso’s botched dive to A.J. Francis’ infamous mishap from SmackDown 2022. Many also criticized WWE for booking Austin Theory in a quick match, arguing that he deserved better. As a result, a YouTube video of their match received quite a significant number of dislikes.
Following the viral spread of his embarrassing botch on RAW, the Royal Rumble winner has finally broken his silence on the matter.
